Leadership

Leadership Icon 2Maine needs a long-term vision for success.  We need new leadership to pave the way for energy independence, educate our workforce, retain our young talent, and fix the budget process so that all Mainers are working for a better Maine in the 21st Century.

We need to think about redirecting state resources towards pursuits that create new income instead of raising taxes to prop up the status quo.  There are many great things that government can do to incentivize people to create business opportunities for Maine people.  It is time for government to act instead of react.

Maine government cannot remain oblivious to the dangers of inaction:

 • We need to declare that Maine is open for business.
 • We need to take advantage of Maine’s renewable resources to solve our energy crisis from within.
 • We need to take full advantage of our tourism assets.
 • We need to prepare our workforce and attract businesses that will keep our kids in Maine.
 • We cannot continue to defer hard budget decisions to the next governor.

It is not about what is going in Augusta.  It is about what is going on throughout the State of Maine.  We need leaders that listen to Maine people.
